The 2UV/1MV skinner trap used last night, so an increased catch. 12 Lunar Underwing, 8 Lesser Yellow Underwing, 7 Feathered Ranunculus, 4 Large Yellow Underwing, 2 Common Marbled Carpet and Brimstone. Also 1 each of Light Emerald, Shuttle-shaped Dart, Setaceous Hebrew Character, Flounced Rustic, Blair's Shoulder-knot, Large Ranunculus and Barred Sallow.

A cool and slightly damp night. The first Blair's Shoulder-knot of the year trapped. Also 10 Lunar Underwing, 4 Lesser Yellow Underwing and Feathered Ranunculus, 3 Square-spot Rustic and 1 each of Large Yellow Underwing and Barred Sallow.

A cold clear night with a full moon, so wasn't expecting much in the UV trap. Lunar Underwing 10, Feathered Ranunculus 7, Large Yellow Underwing and Large Ranunculus 3 and a single Setaceous Hebrew Character and Silver Y.

Last night was mild and damp. In the UV trap 19 Large Yellow Underwing, 3 Garden Carpet, 2 Lesser Yellow Underwing, Lunar Underwing, Feathered and Large Ranunculus, a Copper Underwing a Svensson's Copper Underwing a Setaceous Hebrew Character a Cypress Pug and a Square-spot Rustic. The Large Ranunculus and the Cypress Pug are the first this year in my garden.

A cool night that ended with rain so a poor catch, however 2 year ticks for the garden with Lunar Underwing and 2 Feathered Ranunculus. Also 4 Lesser Yellow Underwing and Large Yellow Underwing, 3 Flounced Rustic, 1 Garden Carpet, Setaceous Hebrew Character and Square-spot Rustic.

A slightly improved catch in the UV trap. 23 Large Yellow Underwings - all worn so they will surely be over soon. 4 each of Garden and Common Marbled Carpet, Lesser Yellow Underwing and Square-spot Rustic. 2 each of Willow Beauty and Lesser Yellow Underwing. Singles of Spruce Carpet, Brimstone, Dusky and Canary-shouldered Thorn - first in the garden this year, Setaceous Hebrew Character, Pale Mottled Willow, Vine's Rustic, Marbled Beauty, Silver Y and Snout.

A relatively low catch in the moth trap last night (triple UV skinner), the summer moths are all but over and the autumn species have yet to really arrive. Large Yellow Underwing 12, Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing 3, Light Emerald and Brimstone 2,1 each of Common Marbled Carpet, Garden Carpet, Yellow Shell, Willow Beauty, Lesser Yellow Underwing, Flounced Rustic, Setaceous Hebrew Character, Turnip, Square-spot Rustic, Svensson's Copper Underwing and Marbled Beauty.
