Single UV light trap run. Only 2 moths recorded, 1 each of November Moth and Cypress Carpet.

A new species for the garden today, a day flying Vapourer. In the UV trap last night 13 species with Garden Carpet 4, Spruce and Common Marbled Carpet 2, Angles Shades, Lesser Yellow Underwing and Blair's Shoulder-knot also 2 each. Singles of Grey Pine and Cypress Carpet, Large Yellow Underwing, Lunar Underwing, Shuttle-shaped Dart, Black Rustic and Feathered Ranunculus. Single UV light trap run again. 6 Feathered Ranunculus, 3 Large Yellow Underwing and Blair's Shoulder-knot, 2 Shuttle-shaped Dart. Also singles of Cypress Carpet, Lesser Yellow Underwing and Lunar Underwing - photo below.

Single UV light trap run. 4 Square-spot Rustic, 3 Lesser Yellow Underwing and 1 each of Willow Beauty, Common Marbled Carpet, Large Yellow Underwing, Lunar Underwing, Barred Sallow, Feathered Ranunculus, Blair's Shoulder-knot and Shuttle-shaped Dart.

A mild and murky night resulted in a good number of moths at the light trap for the time of year. 18 Lunar Underwing, 9 Large Yellow Underwing, 6 Feathered Ranunculus, 5 Garden Carpet, 4 Blair's Shoulder-knot, 3 Lesser Yellow Underwing and 2 Common Marbled Carpet. Also 1 each of Willow Beauty, Light Emerald, Brindled Green, Barred Sallow, Large Ranunculus and Silver Y.
