Another warm day followed by a clear calm night. 6 Hebrew Character, 2 Common Quaker and 2 Early Grey trapped (UV).

A warm day followed by a clear calm night so set the UV trap. Rewarded with a garden tick , a Water Carpet (photo below). Also recorded 7 Hebrew Character, 2 Twin-spotted Quaker, 2 Common Quaker, 2 Clouded Drab, 2 Brindled Pug and 1 Double-striped Pug.

A cool night so little on the wing and a northerly wind which lifted the top of the trap, just 2 Common Quaker, 1 Hebrew Character and 1 Small Quaker found in and around the UV trap.

In the trap last night (UV) a good early spring selection, 1 patch year tick with a Twin-spotted Quaker (photo below), a patch year and garden tick with Pale Pinion, also 1 Dotted Border, 1 Common Quaker, 1 March Moth, 1 Chestnut and a Grey Shoulder-knot.
