LOCAL STATUS
A newly arrived resident. This species first recorded on the patch on the 5thJuly 2006 in my garden. This moth species has slowly spread from south east England since arriving in the UK in 1984. It has benefited from suburban planting of ornamental Cypress such as Leylandii and mild winters. Locally it has also been recorded in the Weston-super-mare area. |
