Finally got around to running a trap again, as I hate dealing with soggy moths and no rain expected overnight. As it was clear and cool few moths around. 10 Large Yellow Underwing, 4 Willow Beauty and Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing, 3 Shuttle-shaped Dart, 2 Brimstone and 1 each of Common Pug, Marbled Beauty and Common Rustic.

Last nights catch included a new species for the garden, a Six-striped Rustic. Also 148 Large Yellow Underwings, 10 Flounced Rustic, 6 The Rustic, 5 Willow Beauty, 3 Brimstone, Double-striped Pug, Lesser Yellow Underwing and Turnip, 2 Shuttle-shaped Dart, Garden Carpet, Lime-speck Pug, Marbled Beauty, Copper Underwing, Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing and singles of Red Underwing, Common Rustic and Silver Y.

154 Large Yellow Underwings, 11 Flounced Rustic, 10 Willow Beauty, 8 Garden Carpet, 4 Brimstone, Double-striped and Cypress Pug and the Rustic, 3 Marbled Beauty and Common Rustic, 2 Orange Swift, Turnip, Lesser Yellow Underwing, Lesser Broad Bordered Yellow Underwing and Silver Y. One each of Yellow Shell, Yellow Barred Brindle, Shuttle-shaped Dart, Setaceous Hebrew Character, Svensson's Copper Underwing, Angle Shades, Millar, Square-spot Rustic. Numbers like this are a result of a run of warm nights.

A new moth species for the garden with an Old Lady, typical for this species in poor condition. Also recorded 74 Large Yellow Underwing, 12 Flounced Rustic, 6 Square-spot Rustic, 5 Setaceous Hebrew Character and Lesser Yellow Underwing, 4 Garden Carpet and Double-striped Pug, 2 Rustic, Copper Underwing, Marbled Beauty and Silver Y and singles of Orange Swift, Flame Carpet, Yellow-barred Brindle, Brimstone, Cypress Pug, Flame Shoulder, Small Square-spot and Miller.
